The Children's Hospital Association (CHA) Research Network leverages the strength of CHA’s data and analytics to perform pediatric health services research and policy relevant research. The network is made up of 13 groups focused on a different clinical or operational area.
Groups include 10-15 physicians with varying levels of research expertise across children’s hospitals. Projects are selected by each group’s leadership based on the novelty of the proposal, the significance of contribution to the field, and the extent to which it leverages the strengths of CHA’s data.
Groups include:
- Children with medical complexity.
- Emergency department.
- Firearms injuries.
- Hospital medicine (a PRIS/CHA collaboration).
- Mental health.
- Neonatology.
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (a PALISI/CHA Collaborative).
- Pharmacoepidemiology.
- Overuse.
- Social determinants of health.
- Policy.
- Pneumonia.
- Surgery.
