Children's Hospital Association Releases Campaign to Build Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) announced the launch of an initiative to highlight the importance of vaccinating children against COVID-19, funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention given to the American Hospital Association.
The campaign will run this summer in nine target states beginning July 1, 2023 and ending on September 29, 2023 to coincide with summer and back-to-school timing. Parents in targeted states will see videos, digital and social media advertising encouraging them to make the empowered choice to get their children vaccinated to prevent further COVID-19-related tragedies within our communities.
All children’s hospitals, parents, and advocates are encouraged to get involved and engage on social media using the content from the campaign to help support the dissemination of vaccine confidence messaging and CDC guidance.
CHA would like to thank MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital for their collaboration on this important issue. Most importantly, CHA would like to thank Desiree, Armani, Amaya and Taylor for their willingness to be a part of this project. By sharing their story, they have played an instrumental role in creating an impactful video that will resonate with many families.
