About This Event

Advocates for medical care standards in pediatric sepsis have worked to create standards, regulations, and reporting guidelines to encourage prompt and effective care for sepsis. In this webinar, presenters will discuss how these came about and what role CHA’s Sepsis Community of Practice can play in the future of pediatric sepsis standards.

Webinar participants will learn to:

  • Relate how sepsis came to be part of legislative policy.
  • Characterize what actions can be taken to participate in sepsis advocacy.
  • Define where opportunities exist for advocacy from the front line of care.

This webinar is part of a series focusing on sepsis research and guidelines for children's hospitals.
