    Criteria for successful completion of this educational activity includes confirmation of session(s) attendance and completion of program evaluation. A link to the online Evaluation and Verification of Attendance Survey will be emailed to participants. To receive a certificate of completion, attendees must complete the survey within two weeks following the activity. Certificates will be emailed to non-CPE participants. About This Event

Learn more about the standardized model and collaborative strategies employed to address the increasing mental health care demand in a large, urban emergency department. Using a quality improvement framework, the hospital achieved a more than 30% reduction in ED throughput time for behavioral health patients in a one-year time frame. They used multiple strategies for improving care, including EHR enhancements, care delivery improvements, and staffing and system process changes.
