Fiscal Year 2023 Omnibus Summary

Fiscal Year 2023 Omnibus Summary

This detailed summary of the FY 2023 Omnibus focuses on those provisions of most interest to children’s hospitals.

We have developed a detailed summary of the FY 2023 Omnibus (H.R. 2617, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023). The $1.7 trillion spending bill provides a 6% increase in nondefense discretionary spending totaling $772.5 billion. Our summary focuses on those provisions of most interest to children’s hospitals. We also have a high-level summary available, as well as a statement on the omnibus. While there are a number of wins in the omnibus for our hospitals and the children and families we serve, we know that our work continues. We greatly appreciate your ongoing collaboration with us as we collectively advocate for our shared priorities this year.
