We have developed a detailed summary of the FY 2023 Omnibus (H.R. 2617, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023). The $1.7 trillion spending bill provides a 6% increase in nondefense discretionary spending totaling $772.5 billion. Our summary focuses on those provisions of most interest to children’s hospitals. We also have a high-level summary available, as well as a statement on the omnibus. While there are a number of wins in the omnibus for our hospitals and the children and families we serve, we know that our work continues.
