Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) sent a letter to congressional leaders highlighting children’s hospitals' urgent funding needs for fiscal year (FY) 2025. CHA and children’s hospitals are asking policymakers to fund specific programs in four policy areas that impact pediatric care:
- Workforce
- Behavioral and mental health
- Disaster and emergency preparedness
- Pediatric research
Children are not little adults. As Congress prioritizes funding this fiscal year, we encourage them to prioritize and consider the unique needs of children and the providers that serve them, like children’s hospitals.
