Congressional Letter to Protect and Strengthen Medicaid

Children's Hospital Association urges Congress to protect and strengthen Medicaid.

As the 119th Congress gets underway, Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) sent a letter urging congressional leadership to protect and strengthen children’s access to life-saving health care by passing the Accelerating Kids’ Access to Care Act, preventing pending Medicaid DSH cuts, and considering the impact of any Medicaid policy changes on children.

Medicaid offers essential health care coverage to 37 million children, and it is vital to ensuring our nation’s children are healthy and able to thrive into adulthood.
